New Years Eve Gala at Lake Lanier Islands Resort!

Wednesday, December 18th, 2013

How are you ringing in the New Year?? We’re celebrating it in a grand old fashion here at Lake Lanier, and we want you to come celebrate with us!! This New Year’s Eve, experience luxurious overnight accommodations, and enjoy free admission to Magical Nights of Lights, a fantastical reception, a delightful four-course dinner (how Gatsbian!), a slammin’ party with a live band playing your favorite 70s & 80s dance hits, a high-class Champagne toast and breakfast on New Year’s Day until 1pm! Is there any reason not to come and carouse at our Grand Ballroom when the Peach drops? We submit that there is not.

Check out some of the details below:

Band Info:

Carl Testa will open the evening with music while you dine.

Headliner: FORTE will crank up the evening with your favorite 70’s and 80’s dance hits.

BullFrogs will also have DJ Steve Powers on New Year’s Eve.

Plated Dinner Menu:

***1st Course***
You’ll be grabbing the nearest spoon when the crab and brie bisque hits the table. On a cold winter night, nothing will warm you up both literally and figuratively more than this tasty appetizer.

***2nd Course***
Salad, of course, for the second course! But this isn’t a fast food joint, and even our salads are classy. Grab a fork and lay into arugula and baby oak leaf with shaved fennel, roasted apples and balsamic-bleu cheese vinaigrette. You won’t be sorry.

***Intermezzo***
You’ll need to cleanse your palette after the sweet taste of crab and arugula, and there’s nothing tastier than our blood orange sorbet with Grand Marnier-infused berries! We’re licking our lips just thinking about it!

***3rd Course***
For your main dish, our chefs have prepared a pan-seared filet of Angus beef paired with stuffed Legacy lobster tailPinot Noir glace and béarnaise, with a petite vegetable mélange and truffled gratin potato. If you can even move after this dish, you’ll be excited to see what we have lined up for dessert!

***4th Course***
We were being pretty serious about the “being able to move” bit, so we kept dessert light and refreshing. Try our friandise served “family style,” including miniature  French pastries, truffles, macaroons and dipped berries. Somehow we’re able to get these out of the kitchen and to our guests without eating them. It’s a true Christmas miracle if you ask us, because that’s how tasty everything is!
